Clerical Assistant – Temporary (full or part-time) – beginning of May to Mid-September
Anglesey Agricultural Society organises the two-day County Show held on the 11th and 12th of August. The Society is seeking a special person to work as an integral part of the admin team in the run-up to the show for a period from the beginning of May to the middle of September.
This may be a full-time or part-time position. The person will report to a Line Manager appointed by the Society’s Executive Board. The job demands the ability to communicate in both Welsh and English, be IT literate, willing to work competently
with various software systems to complete basic administrative tasks. The person must also be able to answer queries by telephone in a confident and professional manner and deal with e-mails and must be able to show initiative and multitask, as and when required. In the last fortnight in the run-up to the show the person may be
required to work some time on weekends or evenings, and for the week of the Show.
An understanding or an interest in agriculture and the countryside is desirable. The post will be based at the Society’s Show Office, Anglesey Showground, Mona, Gwalchmai.
Salary will be negotiable depending on skills and experience.
