What's On at the Show?

Visitor Information

Welcome to the 2026 Anglesey County Show. We hope you enjoy two fantastic days celebrating agriculture, livestock, food, crafts and the very best of rural life on Anglesey. 

Getting to the Showground 

The Anglesey Showground is located at Mona, near Gwalchmai (LL65 4RW), just 3.8 miles from Junction 6 of the

A55. 

  • Free parking is available on-site. 

  • Stewards will be on hand throughout the day to direct visitors. 

  • A Park & Ride service operates from Mona Industrial Estate: 

  • Tuesday: 8:00am – 9:00pm 

  • Wednesday: 8:00am – 6:00pm 

 

Show Office 

The Show Office, located near the Main Ring, is available to assist with: 

  • General enquiries 

  • Lost property 

  • Visitor assistance 

  • Emergency support 

 

First Aid 

Medic 1 provides first aid cover throughout the show. 

First Aid posts are located: 

  • YFC Building 

  • Near the Cattle Ring 

  • Near the Light Horse Rings 

  • Lost Children & Vulnerable Persons 

If a child or vulnerable person becomes separated from their group, please notify the nearest Steward, Security Officer or Police Officer immediately, or report to the Show Office. 

 

Food & Drink 

A wide variety of food and drink is available throughout the showground, including: 

  • Stockman's Restaurant 

  • Leprino Food Hall 

  • Y Cowt Public Bar 

  • Mobile catering units 

  • Local food and drink producers 

 

Dogs 

Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. 

Dogs are not permitted in: 

  • Cadarn Building (Cattle Shed) 

  • Jones Brothers Shopping & Exhibition Hall 

  • Leprino Food Hall 

  • Produce Marquee 

  • Poultry Marquee 

  • Pig Marquee 

  • All Food Courts 

  • Members' Marquee 

Registered Assistance Dogs are welcome in all public areas. 

 

Please Respect Our Livestock 

Help us keep our animals safe by: 

  • Please do not feed the animals. 

  • Do not climb into pens or enclosures. 

  • Supervise children around livestock. 

  • Wash your hands after visiting livestock areas. 

 

Biosecurity 

Please help us protect our livestock. 

  • Use the disinfectant mats provided when entering and leaving livestock areas. 

  • Ensure your footwear is clean. 

  • Please do not touch the animals. 

Be clean and be seen to be clean. 

 

Accessibility 

Accessible toilets are located around the showground. 

Byw Bywyd – Living Life Cyf provides mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs for hire (advance booking required). Telephone: 01286 830101 

 

Baby Changing & Feeding 

Baby changing and feeding facilities are available on the showground. Please refer to the site map for their locations. 

 

Water Refill Points 

Free drinking water refill points are available around the showground. Please refer to the site map for their locations. 

 

Photography & Filming 

Photography and filming will take place throughout the show. By entering the showground, you may appear in photographs, videos or live broadcasts used for promotional purposes. 

 

Health & Safety 

If you notice a hazard or require assistance, please speak to the nearest Steward or visit the Show Office. 

Please use the litter and recycling bins provided throughout the showground. 

 

For everyone's safety, the use of drones is prohibited unless prior permission has been granted by the Society.
