Urdd Eisteddfod 2026 arrives at Mona Showground

We are delighted to welcome the Urdd Eisteddfod to the Anglesey Showground over the coming weeks.
Thousands of visitors, competitors, families and volunteers are expected on site as one of Europe’s largest youth and cultural festivals takes place here on Anglesey.
Although preparations and activity are already underway on the showground, the Eisteddfod officially begins on Saturday 23 May 2026.
⚠️ Please note:
The Anglesey Agricultural Society office will be closed to the public from Saturday 23 May until Monday 1 June due to the Eisteddfod.
Staff will still be working on site throughout this period, so if you need to contact us, please phone or email the office as normal.
We would like to wish everyone competing, performing and visiting the very best of luck, and we look forward to seeing the showground full of activity over the coming weeks.
